The Linconshire Marsh Protection Group, founded in May 2008, is a group of local residents who believe there is insufficient appreciation of the Lincolnshire Marsh’s unique character, quality of life and biodiversity. We coordinated the successful public campaign against the eco-town proposed for Manby, and now wish to make a positive contribution to improve the local economy, housing, protect wildlife, preserve historically significant buildings and promote the area's history and unique culture - by undertaking research projects, hosting events and working with local government, elected representatives and interested organisations.

This website is a work in progress. We welcome input from visitors to this site, and would like to hear from anyone who might wish to write for the site, or who wants to get involved with campaigning.

To sign up for occasional updates, please contact us at info@lincolnshire-marsh.org, by telephone at (01507) 339056, or mobile 07948 156749.

SECRETARY REQUIRED

Our Group requires a volunteer secretary as soon as possible. He or she ought to have basic computer skills, and be able to attend monthly meetings and produce agendas and minutes for monthly meetings. He or she will also be expected to help with research projects, maintain a database of Group supporters and help with a certain amount of (minimal) correspondence. The duties will not be onerous or time-consuming, but will require someone with staying power and a deep interest in the preservation of the Marsh’s character and quality of life.

If you have the right skills, and would like to be part of an active and progressive campaigning-group-cum-think-tank, please e-mail info@lincolnshire-marsh.org or telephone (01507) 339056.
